Growing your own sprouts in Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County

Sprouts are very nutritious and tasty. They make a great addition to any salad or sandwich. Not only that, but they are super simple to grow on your own with very little space, equipment, or time.

Sprouting nuts and seeds can take a marginally nutritious food and turn them into a nutritional powerhouse.

Dementia & Alzheimer’s Support Group, Saturday, February 11 @ 10:30am

The group is open to anyone living with dementia or Alzheimer’s and their families and caregivers. Susie Touchinsky, a local occupational therapist and co-owner of Healthy Habits will be leading the meeting. The group hopes to create an environment where patients with dementia and Alzheimer’s can speak with their families and others about tough issues including safety, driving and living situations. Vegan Potluck, Feb 19 @ 1:30pm

Please bring: vegan dish, serving spoon, recipe card, plate, utensils, beverage (non-alcoholic) and appetite! This dinner will have a Health theme, contact us for more info.
